I have started a thread some days ago: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2541903 and posting a normal question, asking the users from dp: what would they choose if google will fail.
And got an infraction Running Up Post Count / Post Has No Value. How could it have no value. Why when a thread of mine is getting lot's of replies and views i am getting an infraction.
It's obvious that is not a 3 word question like you see from others who are starting threads.

Let me guess - you made a bunch of useless posts in your thread (such as rubbish like "I agree") and they were deleted, you were giving an infraction for those? Move on, stop crying, and make more useful posts next time.

Read this post by Shawn and this by ViciousSummer (in particular the part in bold at the bottom of her post) for more information about infractions.

Thanks for replying. That is the point, i have not made any type of this kind of posts. All of my posts are at least of 30-50 words, 2 sentences or 1-2 paragraphs.
In the above, you may check the thread, the first post made by me was the question, made by 39 words. And a pertinent question, related to google as a company.
Sorry for being a pain in the ass but i would like to know exactly for what i have got that infraction.
I don't find my post in the above mentioned.

As I mentioned "and they were deleted" (us mere mortals can't see that), or are you claiming you didn't make any posts except your initial one? It's a while since you made that thread and didn't revisit to contribute (seems strange).

If you really are claiming you made no other posts in that thread, did you view the infraction part of your settings to see if you actually have any infraction points? Also, there will be links to the actual post (and not the thread), unless the post has been deleted (it will show "Post deleted").

    Good luck.

PS: As I tried to hint to you (in what ViciousSummer wrote), making a post about infractions might not always be fruitful. Or they don't turn out as expected (such as here).

Yes, that's the point, i am claiming that i have not made any posts. Why? Because i have asked a general question, and wanted to find out the opinions of other users about this.
It' not strange, I did not wanted to influence them. I have viewed the infraction part of my settings, and it's pointed on my single post made on the thread, the assumption + Question of 39 words.
The post have not been deleted, and there is no reason to be, nor to receive an infraction for it.

Off-topic: Hope Santa will get me a dog like that one. LOL.

It doesn't matter that you used 39 words - the post/thread serves no purpose and is pointless. It is the type of useless post that belongs in general chat (still spammy there though) and really has nothing to do with Google as a company. All your thread did was provide a platform for a bunch of other people to post useless replies.

Seriously, what is the point of the question? It certainly looks to me like the type of thing someone posts just to hear themselves talk. Too bad they didn't delete the thread when they gave you an infraction. I can't believe you are complaining about getting an infraction for posting that.

Forums are for interacting with people and not posting junk. Your thread is junk and your lack of interaction just supports it was a pointless post for post count. You didn't even take the time to add your opinion. Just one of the many useless threads.
