Since the payment dispatch have shifted to India there have been delays of payments to Indian publishers and delay has been increasing. And as a matter of fact this month was the one that had most late payment. These days the tracking starts working on the second Sunday of every month. We all have been accusing and blaming the Indian operations or rather the Hyderabad Google office for the delay in the dispatch of payments to the Indian publishers. But the real reason is quite different. Been to the Bluedart office today to pick the check and here we had an interesting discussion which we thought is worth sharing with all. As per our information, all the checks and the envelopes, are physically handed to the Bluedart within two to three days of PIP. The Bluedart’s staff then enters all the data in their records and a copy is sent to the Google Head Quarters. Once the Google Head Quarters gives a ‘go’ signal then the barcode with waybill is generated and stuck to the statement of payment and placed in the envelopes provided and are ready for dispatch. With this the tracking starts working. As a matter of fact the Bluedart has physical possession of the checks for 7-10 days on an average with them but cant dispatch without ‘go’ signal. We believe that there isn’t much that Google Hyderabad or Bluedart has any say in it.
I guess you are getting it via Speedpost. In order to get it fast change your address (relative or friend) to some other city where bluedart is available.
Thats why its more important to use Bluedart as atleast you can keep a track of your check. But with Speedpost you don't get that option.
Well, I couldn't understand why does Google is not using our National Electronic fund transfer (NEFT) system for payment. this will save their money as well as our time and hassle too.
