I have registered at a SEO website offering quality services, but sadly I am not quite sure where and how I should promote the products.
One great way to promote it is by creating threads on webmaster forums and forums in your websites niche's announcing it. For example: Here on the Digital Point forum, you can create a thread in the JOINT VENTURES section in our marketplace section. Do a little pitch to get people to signup...etc Do you have a subscribers list for any current clients? Send them a email stating that you now have an affiliate program and perhaps they will join it. You on any social sites? Send a message to your followers. Find blogs in your niche and ask to do a guest blog post. Link to your affiliate program in the blog post. These just some idea's off the top of my head.
There are a wide variety of techniques and strategies to promote affiliate programs. Some people use blogs to write about related content -- which in-turn drives people to their affiliate links. Other people build email lists, use social media, paid ads, etc. For me, I've always had the most success by building website(s) around a particlar product or service. Financial products have always been great performers for me (see my sig). Before building a website, you should evaluate the competition to figure out what you need to include -- and also to find weaknesses where you can improve and offer something above-and-beyond everyone else. The website should include lots of supporting information about your product / service to build trust with your visitors -- which improves conversions and creates more leads. Once you have a great website, the next step is driving traffic. This is another huge subject with lots of different techniques and strategies. Personally, I focus most of my attention on SEO to build up natural, organic search lisings. But this takes time -- so don't expect it to happen overnight. You can also use PPC ads, social media, forum sigs, etc...
I would be careful about using email lists there are many so called SEO experts using email spam to try and gain business, and that alone should tell you something about how good they are.. not. But yes social media and maybe a blog and some back links, but it's a competitive market you will need to work hard
