Has sciene answered the question of how the Earth was started? Oh yeah, the answer is "no". I guess the bible isn't too bad after all.
Did you looked at yourself? do you know how sophisticated your body? do you realy thinks that "big bang" can realy do something so sophisticated?!
The earth was not made by a snap of his fingers. It took millions of years. Does not science prove this to be so?
what i love about the bible.. is it clearly says jesus died on a tree (just like all the historical evidence shows was Roman's favoured method of crucifixion) but for some reason the entire Christian faith (apart from Jehovah's witnesses, they believe somthing else entirely) choose to ignore this and walk around with these ridiculous nazi symbols around their necks.
oh.. well i didn't get time to ask in my monthly sunday morning debates with my local Jehovah's witnesses who come around to convert me, I had just come out the shower and was half naked.. but from what i gather on wiki.. JW's don't believe jesus was crucified at all, but that he was tied to a stake and starved to death or was whipped or somthing.
Hmmmm....interesting...Wiki has fairly accurate details about Witnesses. Have you ever talked to them? Try asking a few questions to see what type of response you get. Some questions could be "Why does God allow suffering", "What's wrong with blood transfusions" and "Where are the dead". Really important questions don't you think?
hahahahahaha, ever heard about a fanatic christian talking about evolution? they cant belive in evolution and the bible at the same time.
I believe the flying spaghetti monster first created trees, a mountain, and a midget. And we had life! What's so hard to understand about that? There's no need for the bible or evolution.
I ask this question both to my Christian brethren, and to those who are not of faith: Where in the Bible does it preclude the possibility of a "Big Bang?" What I read is that He created the world. What I do not read is how He created the world. I believe in God. I certainly would not deny Him the methodology of a big damn boom if that's how He wanted to do it. For you who are not of faith. Your problem is that you would still have to explain the circumstance leading up to a big damn boom. How would that preclude, specifically, the existence of God? Wasn't it Michelangelo who was almost burnt at the stake for his work in the tracing of arteries by dissecting cadavers? Now his work is considered fundamental. This does not preclude the existence of God. It strengthens it. Anything to try and understand the magnificence of what He created. Flying to the moon does not mean we are leaving faith to travel our own path, knowledge only brings us closer to His magnificence.
Well it explains to Christians that evolution is real. Most still believe it isn't. Darwin has pretty much proved it so no need to go into detail. As for the Big bang picture, it shows how after the bing bang the universe began to change and form new star structures and gases and planets suitable for life. And so because little bacteria evolving and changing to suit there environment. READ: http://evolution.berkeley.edu/
