Is Chitika a good alternative to adsense?

I have not had much joy using Chitika although I know people who think it is excellent. Does anyone have any views on the subject?

 

Never tried Chitika but Bidvertiser.

If not Chitika won't pay much

 

Mine are Silver level and yes the earnings are about $0.02 to $0.03 the lucky days..
Not an alternative to adsense, just perhaps the second best ppc ad networks, but far behind adsense (about 10 times less earnings)

 

Chitika pays very poorly when compared to AdSense, but far better than Bidvertiser and AdBrite.

 

the problem is all those ad networks don't have a search engine to first attract big advertisers. yahoo did an adsense competitor (us/canada limited) and then closed it after 3 years, crazy!

 

In terms of payout adsense is the ruler. No body can pay better than adsense.

 

Why not combine chitika with infolinks ( If you're not able use adsense)

Well, here's how I look at it. Adsense, I think is very unpredictable and you can easily be banned at any time, and sometimes they won't even give you a reason for banning you. However, Adsense pays a lot more. Chitika on the other hand is very reliable, and will pay on time. However, they pay A LOT less.

 

No. $0.02 average CPC, low click through rate and no banner or other form of ads.

Bidvertiser has low amount of ads, most times text ads are without any ads and only several different banner ads.

Clicksor is decent, but a lot of downtime, slow loading ads, it may break your site and frustrate visitors.

Text link Ads are good, high CPC, offer paid posts if you have a blog or content type website, you set up your ad space cost, though they've been upping the number of visitors you need to have to join them I have old account from 7-8 years ago and have accounts on most websites like that.

AdBrite are decent, but they as Adsense do ban for nothing and provide no info or proof. I think after you earn some decent amount on lower impressions, say you earn 10eCPM they ban you.

 

Adsense is the best CPC policy. If you have not Adsense account you can try with chitika. But chitika is not alternative for adsense.

 

Chitika is not an alternative for adsense. The CTR is very poor, especially for silver members. 2,300 impressions, just one click, $0.01. very poor.

 

Yes it sure is. Site was performing much better and was making around $15/month in profit-sharing but not much since I let the site go but still some change coming in.

I have used chitika but their earnings are too low. For me adsense is the best.

 

I did not have my luck with Chitika. With Adsense on the other habd i have made some money. So, no it's not.

 

I Had Also Use Chitika, But There CPC is too low. I Think Adsense is Great Compare to Chitika.
