How do I create my own website

Hey, I am a newbie to website design and I want to know how to create or design my own personal website.

Any suggestions are welcome to this.

swap out xxxxxxx with joomla 1.6/1.6/2.5, wordpress 2.5, or jsut place css or html, lots of people give them away for free for the backlinks in the footer. they even come with documents on how to set them up

Yes, try to create it from Joomla. You can easily create your own.

 

If you have few knowledge of Photoshop, HTML and CSS you can make your website as a professional. Just simply make a unique template and slice it and then use HTML and CSS coding. or If you face problem to do this you can use Artisteer to make website, blog and forum etc.

 

You can create your website using three forms, learn HTML and create a simple website it easy. or use Content management system were with out using any programming language you can create extreme websites or take any online services who provide website builder and hosting together.

 

So Many ways is that example word press, joomla etc., are the free templates u use this.

 

If you cannot do it, then I would recommend you paying somebody who can do a proper job.

 

If you are new in web designing then start with WordPress or Blogger. Both are easy way to design first website.

 

You should at least know a little about webhosting, HTML, CSS and graphics in general. Maybe start out by having a blog at Wordpress or something similiar, by this you will learn about how to work in a CMS.

 

If you want to practice creating a website then i suggest you go to blogger.com or wordpress.com because it is free and it comes with html editor. Then when you think you can create better website you can buy domain from them or go to a hosting company and buy your domain and hosting to create your website. Based on my experience.

Best way is to get a basic hosting account then use a CMS such as Joomla. It depends on what you would like your site to do is it a Blog, Information Site, Photo Gallery etc.
