Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was granted assylum by Ecuador but the UK is trying to block the assylum and get him arrested.

Governements are not happy when people reveal their dirty secrets, it's normal.. So now he raped that poooor woman.
They should have made him an animal killer and a paedophile, or vice versa, that would have worked better..

I wonder if his capture (if ever happens) would trigger a pre-ww3 scenario conducted by activist groups around the world. But for now I'm sure they won't do anything to capture him because if they do something really bad is gonna happen I'm sure. I mean let's face it, we all know the truth so if the powers still want to play their charade they're gonna get burned from the inside by various hacker groups. The worst case scenario would be that the CIA will put a bomb on his plane(not the first time it happens).

It's starting to come out that the Americans were trying to get him into trouble in Sweden, That's waht secret services do, the old honey trap is the oldest trick. He's an idiot for going toe to toe with Big Government secrets., lucky to be alive that Aussie.

Any trouble Julian has gotten himself into is completely and totally the responsibility of Julian, and no one else.

No one is trying to get him into trouble. He is accused of sexually assaulting a women and instead of face that charge he's been running away from it.

Where are all the champions of Womens Rights?

As a wikileaks and previously Assange vocal supporter I agree it looks bad for Assange, though he has not been charged, is only still wanted for questioning. I think he should have faced the music once the court decided he should. If he was extradited to US, as he's claiming it is all about, then Australia would have been behind him all the way, even if that meant burning the love-seat most of us currently share with the USA. You would have heard our outcry from there. I don't like the way he's counteracted the law. He's still got very vocal supporters here but I think they're a lot less keener now than they were, since his move to Ecuador imho.

The crime he's accused of at first I thought was no big deal but looking into it I think he should face the music. He wanted to have sex with a girl. She said no condom, no sex. Safe-sex is good sex. He put on a condom and they had sex. Then during the night, whilst she was asleep he goes at it again, this time with no condom. Whilst that doesn't seem to be a big deal and I certainly don't consider it as rape (it demeans the term imho), I think of my daughter. If she practised safe-sex all her life then some fool, renowned for bedding women all over the world, did that to her, then I can understand why she would get upset and why 'some' people could see that as a crime. She asked him to take an STD test which was allegedly refused. Originally I didn't think it was enough of a crime to be considered a crime but when you think about it from her angle, yes, he did do wrong and yes he has a case to answer.

I think this is the first time ever, I agree with Mia.
