Rules What is exactly a " duplicate thread" ?

Hi, I just joined DP this month and have received two infractions - one for not posting in the right section - this seems right to me as I realized it later. The second one I received today is for "duplicate thread" in the content creation section. I made a thread a week before telling the visitors that I have a special offer for them as am starting my career on DP as a content writer. Here's a link to it - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2541261

and the next one I posted yesterday that I can write best in health niche and not even a single line was copied from the last thread and it was telling visitors about my ability to write well in health and tech niche.

This thing makes me worry as I want to post more threads to tell people about my services.

Another thing, I made a thread about mobile phones - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2544012

Now I want to sell these contents and they haven't been sold yet. But the thread is gone on the other page. How to improve the visibility of my post to others? If I will make another thread for the same articles, you will say " duplicate thread" and give me an infraction again. I am confused, how to reach maximum visitors while not making duplicate threads?

Now my post about health contents was removed yesterday though it was about a specific niche and not to spam the forums. What must be done? Please suggest.

MODs please help, I am really worried about how to proceed for making clients in content creation and contents section?

If your thread gone on the other page as you are saying, that means no one interested in it. You can't start another thread for same service. Better you use your signature for that.

There are lots of ways... you can use the Bump option, you can use Google AdWords to advertise your service, or even Digital Point Ads.

Okay, let's consider it this way - If I want to make new threads to offer my services in content creation section, then I can just make one thread which I have already done or I can make new threads as well? Do you guys allow one or two threads in a week?

You are allowed one thread on a specific topic. If you are offering your writing in one thread then you can't keep posting new threads offering the SAME service. That is what makes it a duplicate thread.

Duplicate (or similar) threads are not allowed within any timeframe.
