Can anyone tell me how to Choose keywords for a site?

I have a blog. I want to fit a keyword for it. Learn the steps of Keyword Analysis.

Please help.

 

keywords should be very catchy and should make sense.
search engines are very smart in displaying keywords.
if they recognise fraudity or duplication then the keywords will be rejected.
so try to build good keywords which make sense.

Best method is to choose relevant keywords those are good for your site, low in competition and with good searches.

 

Choose keywords based on your niche, it is mobile phone related then select those keywords, you can get very good keyword ideas using Google keywords tool it'll give you a list of keywords related to your niche.

 

Base the keywords on your content and choose the lowest competition for it. If a keyword is relevant to your site and has 100,000 queries and 150,000 competitors is bad. Choose one that has only 1000 queries, but only 10 competitors. Mathematically the second one will give the best results.

 

Use google adwords keyword tool in this regard.

 

SEOmoz is probably your best bet. It is not free but it is worth the money.

I agree all the procedure becoz i know them all. but i want to know about the semantic keyword selection process. and all basic tools which is used for selecting the keywords. Ok, i will make it clear. If you got a brand new site related to Mobile phones, how you going to choose your keywords?

Try to use the most generic words that people generally use to search, which must be related to the content of your blog site.

 

Blogs at blogger is free blogs website that you need to optimize but this is only waste of time because blogger free blogs going ban any time.

But if you need right keywords than take help with Google Adword tool and choose always keywords in Phase form with higher search volume but less traffic.

Go to Google keyword tool and put your competitions URL in where it says websites and see what keywords come up and go from there
