Bin Laden's actions were irrational, when you think about it. He was a bit like a guy with a wife who loves to whore around(The Saudi Royal Family). Instead of divorcing his wife for infidelity, he sets out to attack all the guys she has come on to. How can you justly blame the guys she has cheated with for the fact she really doesn't give a crap about you?

I can think of many things our nation does that I am less proud of. Support for the KSA being near the top of that list. I can also appreciate the fact it is a necessary evil, for the time being. Regarding Raymond Davis, I don't know the facts and neither do you. If he shot two people in cold blood and got away with it by making a payment to the family, that would definitely not be something i would be proud of. If, on the other hand, he was attacked by two armed people and came out victorious in a gun battle, I think they shouldn't have had to pay a dime and ought to hand the guy (another) medal. Its international politics. Neither you or I will likely ever know the truth.

On a second point, the current world of Islamic murdering power mad idiots in power have a way with words. Saddam Hussein was notorious for his boasts and claims. He was driven from Kuwait in a matter of weeks. His military was decimated. It didn't take long. In 2003 his craziness contributed to a second war. Within weeks again his forces were decimated.

Saddam Hussein, the great example of big mouthed Islamics, threatening everyone and anyone with his crazy boasts was driven from power and ultimately found like a thin crazed mad dog hiding in a hole in the ground. He was later executed.

So be it for current big mouthed crazed Islamic boastful maniacs who threaten everyone and anyone. Khaddaffi was a more recent example. As I recall this example of boastful Islamic leadership was last found hiding in a pipe. His own people killed him, and the videos seemed to indicate they did so while about or in the process of also ramming a big hard long stick up his a$$.

In light of the policies of digital point I can't understand why they allow these posts in the first place and this digital example of Hitlerian hatred to continue to post.

I don't like wars. The war in Iraq was a terrible American mistake, in my judgement, and I acknowledge being taken in by the lies of the administration that started it. It did get rid of a sh!t head of an evil bastard in Saddam, but beyond that I see a horrible deadly waste.

Frankly the Iranian regime has preached a level of hatred for decades now. Its a repressive government run by an extreme version of a hate dominated religion. They hate Americans, they hate Israelis, they hate Sunni muslims, they hate Europeans, they hate giving citizens rights, they treat women like second class citizens. They sit on oil, which is simply the critical fuel to the world economy. Ironically the Sunni gulf states, whom they hate, also sit on oil.

Isn't that sweet, the two Islamic sects sitting on all that oil hate one another with a passion fueled by the passions of extreme religions.

Frankly, you either are a purveyor of the worst examples of human evilness and cruelty or not. If you are not, than acknowledge it by speaking up on those two threads I referenced and acknowledge you don't support the opening threads.

The spread of hatred is a force that destroys lives everywhere. I'll repeat one of my own experiences from years ago. I was out at dinner on the first night of war in Kuwait when forces attacked Saddam. Our dinner companions included a guy who had grown up in Beirut, Lebanon and fought in the civil war there. The waiter came out and the two guys instantly recognized the accents of one another as they spoke English. Then they reverted to Arabic. Frankly their conversation ended in smiles. The waiter left.

Our friend translated and told us the waiter was also from Beirut, and fought on the other side. Maybe those two guys were shooting at one another in a different world fueled by hatred. In the states, away from that hatred, they could smile, relax and be friendly, not fueled by extreme hatred.

The war started that evening while we were eating out. The waiter came out of the kitchen with some other ex-Lebanese working in the back of the house. They had a TV in there, told us the news, and the other ex-Lebanese all smiled, shook hands with my friend, spoke Arabic to him, and greeted us. When they left he told us ....they had all been his enemies...at another time and place.

The mid east is a f*cked up cauldron of vicious hatred fueled by religious fanatics like the leaders of Iran that made that stupid statement. Those statements by those religious/government leaders have led to 10 million muslims having been killed by other muslims in the last 60 years for religious religions.
