    Wordpress will be my choice. Because it got a bunch of plugins which are absent in blogger, Also in wordpress you will get complete control over your blog where as in blogger, your blogs are in the hands of Big G. Don;t know when it gets deleted!

    I've used both and wordpress is 100% better for SEO because of the customization that it allows.

    More than the system, you should focus on the template. If you can customize your template to make it SEO-friendly you will sure get an advantage over bloggers who don't.

    I experimented with both a few months ago and wrote two articles for each technology product I promoted and submitted them to Wordpress and Blogger. 4 out of 5 articles were ranked higher with Wordpress, so that's the site I would certainly recommend.

    I know blogger has a new interface now and has upgraded their tools. But I still think that Wordpress is better as far as SEO is concerned. There is a lot more plugins in Wordpress that you can use to help you optimize your site.

    Wordpress is better for SEO and also there are some awesome plugins that have been developed for wordpress with which you can harness more power from wordpress.

    Without any doubt wordpress is way better for seo compare to blogger , wordpress having better rewrite rules compare to blogger and you will get lots of good SEO plugins for the wordpress
