I have been on DP for some years now and spent close to a 100K on developers and buying from sellers. I have found that the majority of mods here on DP are a bunch of a**holes and totally incompetent of performing duties of moderating a forum. One exclusion, however, is definately Shannon!
Honestys the best policy lol, i havent been around that long to really know to much about the bods but its your opinion. you should tell them reasons why they are bad mods maybe they can change the way they do things around the forum.
Yeah gus, that's right, give me some more infractions until I get banned - will be more than happy to take my business to other webmaster forums! Edit - You still remain a**holes and now even more so! At least I am not the person who allowed innocent forum users from being scammed by allowing fraudsters to advertise fraudulent passports, drivers' licenses etc. for five days on this forum! Any other mod who feels offended by this post, please feel free to give another infraction, I am still not banned.

Hi action script I am not really mad at all the mods on here. But, here is why I am unhappy. Firstly, I have been offline for quite a few days and when I returned here, I found a forum where a user blatantly advertise fake degrees, fake passports, fake drivers' licenses etc. for quite a few countries. They even offer the templates used to create these fake documents for sale. What p*ssed me off was the fact that this post had been online for about 5 days and had not been removed by mods. I reported it thread (even to Shaun), but nothing happened. I then made a post here pointing people to the thread and asking why mods would not remove it. Well, an hour or so later, the thread had been removed. I then asked my thread here to be closed. Guess what, then some mod started giving infractions saying I am trying to build up post counts. And so the infractions kept coming. This is why I posted this thread, and well, got some more infractions. I don't care about the infractions, but it is just foolishness how mods operate on here and how certain fraudsters are allowed to post here, and keep their posts alive for 5 days.... Well, in future I will not report fraudulent threads. I will now take it up with law enforcement agencies and ISPs against Digital Point directly if I find these threads longer than a day on this forum.

Plain stupid if you ask me, and it's a shame to hear those words to one of the most loved forum on the Internet, unfortunately this treatment will not make any good to DP. I believe Moderation/Leading a forum is at least 30% of a Forum Importance. I believe that would be the best thing to do plus it will give a nice treat to the Moderators that left that post there. I agree DP has 2K Users around all the time but the numbers should not be any excuse (DP can promote more moderators.)
You are right, and DP will realize this when it is too late. Many times I wanted to advertise here on DP, in fact I applied, but due to mods I rather spent my $2k on an Adwords campaign. Also wanted to upgrade premium membership, but why spend any cash on the forum itself if this is the way people are treated? I am most happy to come here only to get developers, but will rather spend my money and time on other forums from now on forth.
You are absolutely correct on this mate, I joined DP last year, but seeing this kind of treatment going on, i left posting and returned back this year to see if things changed. Did it change? LOL YEA, it has worsened now. I was infracted continuously for 5 posts, which were "absolutely" valid. One example was when i posted an update on my sales thread that "there are only 2 review copies left" was removed and i was infracted for increasing my post count. LOL. What am i going to do with the post count? Seriously ? Are we dealing with KIDS here ? I thought this is a webmaster forum, with mature people. But what can i do, when some mods themselves are so immature, i can surely see the fate of this forum. Also, if anyone infract me for this post, please go ahead and read what i've explained. I think you are getting your timeframes very confused. You reported the post on Aug 18, at 4:26 am PST, and the reported post was dealt with and the spam removed on Aug 18, at 5:58 am PST. So ultimately all I see if you being pissed off that we "only" dealt with a reported spam within 90 minutes at 5:00 am. Actually, you made a post complaining that mods aren't fast enough on Aug 18, at 4:32 am PST. If you *really* expect reported posts to be dealt with within 6 minutes at early hours of the morning, well... you are simply mistaken. The spam was dealt with not because of any random thread you created, but because of the reported post you made (again, 6 minutes before you made a thread complaining mods aren't fast enough). You mean the ONE infraction you got? It's normal to get an infraction for making a thread about something you report. If everyone made a thread about every little item they reported, the forum would be filled with pointless threads. By "infractions" you are implying there were more than one. You received ONE for creating a duplicate thread. In *all* you have a grand total of 2 infractions on your account. Not really sure how this can be construed as someone going after you and "piling them up". 5 days... 90 minutes... same thing. Reported Post: Thread That You Reported: Lol... okay. Also, for the record, you never contacted me about it (even though my answer would have been to report it so a mod could look at it). Not a single PM from you within the last 6 months (as far back as my PM box goes).
I'm offended. They seem to be the big thing at the moment. It used to be VCC, phones, even Ugg boots but in the last week or so it's fake passports. Hang around long enough and you'll see more but what we need is for you to continue reporting them so we can continue keeping the place clean and tidy.
