I believe Abraham had the most influence on shaping the U.S, but I don't agree with everything above. His initial intentions were not to end slavery, and it didn't lawfully end till afters his death (with amendments). This is an incredible list here. ^^^^ While I don't like all the policies/actions of the people here, I find this a great list. While all of them are extremely important figures in our history, I wonder which one you like most (and why)? It doesn't have to be a science... http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061121/us_nm/leisure_influence_dc
Scarlett Johansson's. (Sorry, too much wine last night). Every one of them has points I admire, and points I don't. I would assemble many of them - Lincoln, King, Jefferson, Franklin and FDR, particularly - into one, if I could, and toss in JFK as well.
I would barely pick jfk over jefferson(just barely) lincoln was the biggest racist and actually wanted the slaves returned to africa. He fought the war to preserve the union not to give freedom to the slaves
The guy from 'A' Team, AGS? WTF, guys!....ask a serious question, and you get Cartman as an answer. Damn you people! Geez, have some class in your chooses, like me. That's the kind-of US figure I like....lmao.
Okay, my real pick is Jefferson. : ) But lets be honest, I would rather personally see her naked than see the declaration of independence written.^^^^^
Nah. I still prefer Hannibal Smith buddy. Or failing that "Howling Mad" Murdoch (and I don't mean the crazy Illuminati American media mogul Rupert Murdoch) I mean the other guy from the A-Team.
I don't really think Martin Luther King Jr. should be included in this poll, but okay. I voted for Abe Lincoln, best president the United States has seen followed by FDR.
George Washington, he had all the power in the world, they wanted to make him King, and he turned it all down.
