It depends on the level of writing skills that you need and specific knowledge required.

Anywhere from $1 to $20! As tmamedov says, it's all about the quality of the work you get at the end of it.

It depends on whether or not you want an essay or a true piece of sales copy. And, it depends upon whether or not the copywriter is going to take the time to understand your business, determine your USP, your competitor's USP and truly write something that generates sales.

You can get a scraped, copied and poorly written piece for anywhere from 50 cents to 3 or 4 dollars. Top notch copywriting can cost you anywhere from 50 or 100 dollars on up to thousands.

5 to 700 words? That's quite a range. (Unless you mean 500 to 700 words, then the joke's on me, huh?)

A decent copywriter with experience in writing for the web WILL have SEO knowledge- it's an important skill to have! As for rates, that varies. If I were to quote what I would charge, I'd need more information. What is the nature/purpose of each article? Also, what kind of relationship are you looking to establish?

If you just want to order a single article for marketing purposes, it will probably cost more than if you needed 20+ articles to add value to your website.

Decent copywriters are also much cheaper than quality/premium copywriters. To throw an estimate, I'd say $10 on the low end (from somebody who is still working on building a portfolio) up to $100 or more for somebody with solid experience and better skills. The average is right around $25/50, depending on the nature/purpose of the article and other terms.

It depends on what the point of the article is. If it's a product review that you are trying to get the buyer to click an affiliate link for you're going to need to pay someone a lot more than you would if it's just for something you're slapping up on article directories. You can get some Fiverr writer to do it for 5 bucks and get a spun, keyword stuffed article that wouldn't convert at all or you could pay $25-$50 and get a knowledgeable, experienced, proven writer to give you copy that converts amazingly and gives you a huge ROI.

Just remember that you always get what you pay for. Cheaper articles will almost always be of lower quality in my experience. With that being said usually $1-$2 per 100 words for basic articles is what I pay.

It depends on the quality as well as niches of articles. Because some topics are difficult to write.

Copywriting and article writing are two different things. SEO articles can be purchased for pennies if you don't care about the content. Unique, quality articles usually begin at $10 (for new writers) and can cost hundreds if written by experienced professionals.

If you offer SEO experience to write articles, then you have to pay some more and it may be, he will charge $2 or $20, but I ready to write $5 each article. What do you think?
