Is it necessary for a static website to update content regularly?

    Necessary for what? No it is not necessary. Nothing is forced anyway. But you should have good content in your website, if not then yes add to it regularly until you feel your site is pretty complete!

    According to me my STATIC website's content very rich and unique & also informative to the users...So i want to know that DO i need to change or update it after some time ? or it is good to go for next couple of years..

    I think having a blog somewhere on the static site is a good idea because search engines definitely prefer more original content than full static sites deliver in most cases.
