Hey Shawn, Just wondering.. once the iTrader system is removed / no longer in use.. Will there be anyway to show other DP users ones iTrader stats or will they disappear completely ? If so would the be any chance a page could be setup.. maybe even just a screenshot of the users last feedback page: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader.php?u=200652 <-- example of my iTrader page.. having this controlled / hosted by you / DP so that no cheating could occur ? I only have 49 iTrader things but this is all positive feedback and is very helpful for me / and potential DP users that may be interested in using my services. While 49 positive trades is not a massive figure for some DP users it is a good indication that i am a honest / trustworthy DP member this does help a potential client / customer feel at ease to deal with me and not stress that they may get ripped off or not get the desired service they were expecting. Still not sure if the iTrader is going to just not appear one day or if the system will still remain in tact with the preferred method of trades using the new system. Thanks for any feedback on this. Regards, Darren
You can take a screenshot and show people if you want, but it's not something we are going to do for you on our end.
+1 for new system and totally agree with what you want to do. it will allow legit users like me, to be able to maintain a good feedback score. I work really hard to maintain credibility and positive feedback. fiverr.com seems to have it nailed pretty good whereby you pay fiverr.com and fiverr pay the seller. what you should do is, if people pay with paypal through DP you can give "verified" buyer points or something like that and also shave some commission from the transaction for yourselves. or like odesk.com, display how much money the buyer has spent then with the amount of transactions and verified payments, you can create a "quality score" for the buyer, so sellers can see if the buyer is worth dealing with. just my 2 cents.
my idea is DP have a escrow system, all trade need DP coins and must verify member, once the buyer confirm they receive the service or items, DP release the fund, and both DP member can leave feedback to each other, the feedback show will be DP verified.***
I have made recently a few sales using paypal buy now system, but couldn't find out how to use the new iTrader Anyway, as much as you keep the old iTrader live is ok for me, because I have a good feedback
Can you post some tutorials on how to use the new itrader system? Will there be an additional fee in using the payout service that dp would be using or what?
Am having trouble leaving itrader feedback. Just keep getting: GobBluthJD, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?Certain forums have specific requirements for posting, which you can find here. Some areas (for example premium articles) are only available to premium members. Any ideas? It was a good website buy, I want to leave the feedback seller deserves!
Thanks for the reply. I have 23 posts or so; how high does it have to be before I can leave a positive feedback? Seems pretty crazy that I can't already..
Alright Shawn, Your new system sounds good. But how about the repu and feedback earned by members in the form of iTraders? Would your new system convert iTrader point to something new or members should forget about the repute they built?
Existing iTrader ratings will go away. I feel like this question has been asked and answered about 25 times in this thread already.
what about listing them on a table at an extra page. You won't have to keep it in the profile but you could refer to the number if somebody asks for it
Probably easiest if someone wants to do something like that to just take a screenshot of their own iTrader rating and post that picture.
When will this change in itrader setting be done? Is there a small fee in using your payment system? Thanks.
There is no fee to use Instant Pay. There is no ETA (if it was ready now, it would be rolled out already).
That would be great if there would be no fees involve. This way, only genuine sellers can transact in digitalpoint.
Hey Shawn, Do you plan on adding anymore free 3rd party content sharing and webmaster tools, to help others boost SEO?
