So, I set up a blog for showing best amazon deals just 2 days ago. and fortunately I got 3 clicks, 5 ordered items and 2 of them already shipped. So, I want to ask is this normal? or can I get in trouble for this because clicks are less than the amount of items ordered. thanks for any help.
That's just really great conversion. If its legit traffic (and im not sure how it wouldnt be) you should be just fine with no worries. Great job! Got a site of yours I can check out?
@LemonTide - I've had legit traffic on one of my sites where sometimes a person will click and then order 25 of the same item. It's completely normal.
Yes, they ship at different times. I had 3 sales come through this month, and only 1 shipped so far. Don't worry about it.
wow, that's great traffic, sometimes get 40+ click and no conversion and I still have my account, so clearly that isn't a problem.....
I think that's good, in fact I've read in a forum. a member is recalled, that God willing he is to get tens of thousands but no conversion at all
It can happen when someone buys a few items through your affiliate link as it will only register as 1 click, but if that conversion rate happened to often then the suspicious bunch at Amazon would start to do investigative work on your account. I hope your good fortune continues, as there are great opportunities with the Amazon affiliate program and if applied correctly can give you a nice monthly income. Mark
No worries at all .. I have had the same thing happen to me! I think Amazon works on cookies, so even if the customer goes to a different page after visiting your link, you will still get commission, as you are essentially the referral
Amazon cookies last for 24 hours, so if someone revisits from your initial affiliate links and buys then, you will get the credit for it.
