How do my ads look?

I'm wondering how the ads look on my site. I've pretty much adopted how DP has gone about their ads here. Just wondering if it looks okay with my site. The site has been up for about 2 1/2 weeks, but I'm not really making very much. Usually $0.50 or less per day. Anything I should do different with the ads to help increase that? Also, how does the site in general look? Thanks for the help guys.

The green makes it stand out and from my understanding that is a great place for them.

Are you saying I should not use the colors and blend them instead? I just changed to using the colors over the last few days to see if that would help.

Actually I like how you have it now... I think the contrasting colors attract attention. Not saying blended ads wouldnt work neither, as pachecus pointed out, 'some people are blind to adsense ads'.

Is there any way you could split those two banners after each first post so there is one after the first post, then one after the second post? Not sure what effect it would have, but it may not looks as blocky then? Just an initial impression, im no expert.

I like the ones in pink. The ones between the posts are annoying. Did adding the second set of ads increase the click thru?

No, it didn't. I actually just moved the second set down to after the last post. Shouldn't make it so annoying. We'll see how it goes.

Move one of the leaderboards to just under the navbar and set both the border color and background color to whatever color your page background it. And yes, I'd leave the second leaderboard after the first post, styled just like you have it.

Annoying is a matter of opinion. If you wish to make money then the only ad you need on a forum is the leaderboard under the navbar. You have room for the 468x60 in your header so that might do pretty good too. If you don't want to annoy members, then turn the ads off after they register or reduce their size like here on DP.
