They are going to be kicking a lot of countries out of the UN then.

This thread serves as an example of the logic you and Michael use. Some Muslims/Arab attacks a bus full of Jews and then someone here starts a thread to complain that Jews are dead and tries to blame the Jews. The manipulation of facts gets tired.

As for the way you think the UN works, lucky for the world, your wishes are not the way the UN works. But I must say you are awfully good at complaining about it while at the same time demonstrating little understanding for how it all works.

I showed you actual video of Palestinians using UN ambulances to move weapons you dismiss it. When I cite facts, you dismiss the source as biased. You cite your own biased sources and demand everyone agree with you. You are no better than the idiot who posted info from Stormfront to bolster his argument against Jews. Not an ounce of integrity in the lot of you.

There's a difference between violating 1 or 2 resolutions and violating dozens of resolutions. Israel has consistently been violating resolutions and international law, and as such must be isolated by the international community.

Well, sure, but anyone can cloud a good argument by resorting to "facts". How unfair of you. Damned troll. :p

Mikaël you will have to take up your desire for an exception to pladecalvo's rule with him. LOL.

I never suggested that those countries be kicked out, I was merely mocking his assertion that they should.

The UN [which at the time had like 50 members) thought Israel was a peace loving nation in 1949. But then ... came this:

Then so be it! If they kick a lot of countries out, perhaps the ones that are left will do what they have signed up to do....i.e. obey the rules.

I know how it works thanks. Clearly YOU do not, evidenced by your claim that UN resolutions are non-binding.

    Ditto!

    Ditto!

    Ditto! (and proven by me).

What...you mean the source you claim is 'highly biased'??? Aaaaaaaahahaha!! What a hoot! He claims a source is biased....and then uses information from it! LMFAO!

btw...What the World thought of Israel in 1948 is a bit different to what the world thinks of it now. Things change. I mean...in 1980, America was supplying Osama bin Laden with weapons and calling him a "Freedom Fighter" and then.........! Get my drift?

Man you are dense. I made no such claim. Like most of your points here, you seemed to have missed the factual boat.

I have said in plain words, and repeated them multiple times, that ***General Assembly*** resolutions are non-binding. I even highlighted that point for you in the post I made which I quote again below.

You still don't get it? I can't cure stupid.

They can quote a UN resolution - I assume they can do that without error. I was making a joke about citing your source. The quote I used is obviously just the text of a UN resolution.

It the conclusions and premise of your source that are biased. You really are a simpleton to try and spin that as my using your biased source, eh? Your posts stand as a testament to your manipulative thinking.

You don't need to tell me. You need to remind your compadre over in Spain. I could not agree more that the point was more than obvious.

Both the General Assembly and Security Council affirm that East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza are Palestinian territories and that the Palestinians have a right to self determination in those territories.

Join the many Jews who openly criticize Israel.

    pladecalvo does have a point.

Article 6 of the UN Charter states "A Member of the United Nations which has persistently violated the Principles contained in the present Charter may be expelled from the Organization by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council."

Because Israel has persistently violeted the Principles contained in the present Charter, Israel can be expelled. Only the nutjobs that use Israel as a stick to beat the Muslims with, and only the Christian and Jewish Zionists will disagree.

...and YOU have missed the point that when we are talking about the resolutions that Israel has violated, we are talking about the resolutions passed by the Security Council...which ARE legally binding. Withdrawal from the occupied territories is a SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION.

That all you got left pal?? LMFAO!!

You used the source and the quote pal...you own it!

It could all be part of the plan for peace. Take as much land as they can now so they can use it to appease the people wanting the land back just for the sake of pride. When peace is declared Israel will go back to 1967 borders and Palestinians will be happy with that because they'll get a lot of "lost-land" back. Both will feel they had a win and a proper peace will be found. ~theprophet~

Israel has no plans for peace. The Arabs said this from the beginning but nobody believed it.

I think 'some' in Israel have no plans for peace and 'some' Palestinians have no plans for peace but I would expect the majority of both sides want a peaceful and suitable resolution and the quicker the better so they can all get on with it.

Does anybody here really give a damn what the United Nations does?

Does the U.N. really matter? It's a wholly corrupt organization that has never stopped a war or done anything remotely useful.

Can anyone ever show me a situation where a country has said "Holy Shit! the United Nations has voted a resolution against us! We better stop what we are doing before the U.N. sends us a strongly worded letter"!

The point is...if you (meaning a country) think it's worthless and don't want to abide by the rules then get the feck out. Simple!
