It's pretty annoying in the marketplace trying to find stuff for sale when the domain is missing along with any other relevant information and the seller puts "please pm me for info". Can a new rule be made that the domain must be posted in the thread at the very minimum. It wouldn't hurt to have them post any traffic/earning proof as well if they are claiming it. Thats all, have a nice day.
Agreed with Smyrl, even I have not posted ever to that section. But I also would like to hide that info as I want only buyer to have that info.that is fair enough option to keep my domain secret.
I'd say the best thing to do is use the marketplace domain/site filtering system... http://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/ Only domains that are actually listed are in there.
I'd like to see members at least put the niche of their site in site sales threads. That way I know if it's worth exploring further or not. E.g. if someone is selling a webmaster or business related site I might be interested. However, if someone is selling a casino site, I won't be interested.
i agree. but i think end of the day it costs them as who is gonna be bothered to contact them. The few times i do bother to contact someone, its nearly a dozen pm's before you get the revenue proof sent, and you realise that what they are asking for is nowhere near what the site is worth. EDIT: I didnt realise there was a filtering system! But perhaps there can be a way to show URLS for sites for sale only to those that are logged in? Perhaps this will address some of the concerns that people have?
