Today I have seen the light..

Today I have signed up for Text Link Ads and Amazon's affiliate program. I have seen the light. I am not just confined using Google AdSense. Why limit my potential earnings when there are multiple other avenues I can explore?

Thank you DigitalPoint for you have opened my eyes!

    :D

Text links ads? Amazon affiliate doesn't get you a huge payout, so don't expect anything to big!

Yes, you need multiple streams of income.
checkout the affiliate program section. Lot of useful information there.

Don't worry, I will still use Google AdSense. I am just talking about exploring other methods to generate revenue. I was ignorant to this before today and that is the reason for this post, to open other people's eyes.

Don't just rely on AdSense. Yeah you can earn from it, but utilize all other avenues too!

Neither Amazon or TLA are against Adsense rules.

Also check out www.cj.com and www.chitika.com both can provide extra income alongside Adsense. There are literally 100s of other revenue sources that you can use, though probably best to use in moderation unless you want your site to look like one giant ad :).

Yeah, and I can understand why. However there is certainly potential with the program if you can find a way to utilize it correctly.

well, I believe there is a core truth in what mtb is saying...that for so many of us, AdSense was like an easy entry point into this whole world of internet marketing. And then you get comfortable and start to spread your wings a bit.

Most of your traffic to and from site don't want to be bothered with the intrusiveness of the"zon's purchasing. This has been my feeling about them. I believe this is is why they are attempting omakase links.
