How much do you make a year from a page with adsense?
(For example a 100 page site making $200 a year, makes $2 per page per year.)

It is hard to give an answer to such a question. It all depends on the quality and originality of the pages content, the care of SEO taken on the page, the competition for the keywords, so on and so forth. The value of a page is directly relevent to the items listed above, and to the industry or type of content to which your site is directed. You can also not value an individual pages value based on 1 page alone. The overall relevancy, originality, SEO and competition for your ENTIRE site is going to affect an individual pages value.

Basically I am wondering if it is possible to make a lot of money just by a one page site. Too many (naturally used) keywords, too many or quality backlinks and at the end too much traffic. I wonder if smartpricing should be expected in this case. Instead of concentrating on one topic on one page, create a very long page with all content together. It won't be very targetted but it will attract many obscure terms. But at the end Google, Yahoo, etc controls everything.

You will not have too much success with a one page site. The search engines (especially Google) takes the size of a site into account when ranking websites. When you think about it, it makes sense. A larger site with continuous new information (and pages) is more serious and legitimate than a one page site. And its true. Take what we are talking about for an example. You want a one page site to make money. Not to create a legitimate website. Google has it all figured out already.

A website with a lot of quality-pages will also get more links, therefore higher in the SERPS. Income is really based on the total number of visitors, and the subject-matter of each page. The number of pages is only an indirect factor. Still, a small site is much harder to draw traffic to.

i think this is irrelevand, the site as a whole is most important.

The most important thing with Adsense is to have traffic. And by traffic I mean good quality targeted traffic. With a one page site with very high traffic you can make the same if not much more than a 100 page site with much less traffic.

It is more to do with site traffic, and site content. If you had a 1000 page website with very little content at all, you could do very little from adsense. However, a 100 page website full of very relevant content, you would make a fair sum.

it would be mind-boggling to calculate because, after all, google wants you to continually be adding content and pages to stay in good graces with them, so the revenue-per-page figure would keep on shifting.

I thought about it, and it doesn't make sense to me.
I have a very simple website, 3 pages in total. Content is almost unique because it's a very specific subject, but I worked on it and people find it useful. Content will not change, except very small update or links change.

You're right, search engines don't really like small websites, as I almost get 0 traffic from them. But I don't understand why.
People come to my website, they recommand it to other people on blog, forums, mails, and they bookmark it. So I would say it's a serious website.
Thanks to adsense I can get some $$$ with it.

Quality is better than quantity !

There is no point in looking at it this way because the actual value of pages will vary substantially.
