Hey guys, I'm a complete traffic addict However, a lot of times I see the same 'ol strategies being thrown around a lot. So I decided to shake things up a bit and share 3 slightly 'outside-the-box' traffic strategies. Hope you enjoy! 1. Slideshare Traffic. You can tap into thousands of extra visitors if you're willing to repurpose you're content a bit. One of the best ways to repurpose your content is to turn your articles(or your webinars) into Powerpoint Presentations. You can then submit your Powerpoint to Slideshare.net for increased traffic and exposure. The key to getting a TON of traffic from Slideshare is to hit the front page. Kind of like hitting the front page of Digg back in the good 'ol days. Slideshare has sections on the front page for presentations that have been shared the most on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. So the first step I would take is to share your presentation with your social networks. And ask a few friends to share as well. Next you'll want to embed your presentation on your own blog to get the ball rolling. You can also embed your presentations inside your guest posts to help you hit the front page as well. But make sure you have a clear, bold call to action INSIDE your presentation so you can direct visitors from your Powerpoint BACK to your website. Also keep in mind that Slideshare has lots of ranking power as well so be sure to create a keyword optimized title - but make it engaging as well. 2. Submit Your Site to Content Aggregators. If you have a top-notch blog that regularly publishes valuable content (which you should), then you can submit your blog to sites like AllTop.com, AffBuzz.com, and AffDaily.com. These are content aggregators that syndicate the best content from around the web. And if your blog is accepted, you've instantly tapped into an ongoing, perpetual traffic source. 3. Traffic Swaps Almost everyone is now familiar with ad swaps. However, very few people really get creative with their traffic swapping. Not only can you swap email promos. But you can also do twitter swaps, Facebook swaps, article swaps, banner swaps, thank-you page ad swaps, and more. Create a core group of 5-10 strategic partners where you can setup long-term traffic deals.

Thanks for your sharing. Many friends of mine usually do marketing on facebook, google and twitter with some useful marketing tools. I think they are doing well in the whole marketing.

Cheers on the slideshare method, I've never thought about tapping into that. Should be several ways to twist that around and get some good traffic from it
when I read the title I was pretty sure I won't read any new idea's in here but I have to admit atleast the powerpoint idea is a not common one even though I already heard about it before.
I don't think you're using wrong keywords moreover using them incorrectly. Simplify it. Kind of like your signature. Your link is anchored to "Get your discount on Amazon Products in minutes". It would more appealing to visitors and search engines if it was something like "Amazon discounts".
