I've read somewhere on this forum that advertisers are paying 30$ cmp here. Can someone confirm if it's true.

Not sure about this one. But I know few people earning few cents per day by just posting. :)

Maybe Shawn could help you answer your question.

    I think it's a fantastic idea.
I'm only a new member, but it probably just tipped the scales on if i would become very active or not.

Not for the revenue but just the fact that this community is so alive.

    Well done :)

I'm sure you will find DP to be a very valuable resource. It is amazing to see the wealth of information that is on many of the boards and you can find just about anything.

Although I have times where I have limited time to spend here and the amount of activity can be overwhelming to try and keep pace with but it is a great community.

I think its a cool idea....I don't know how much money i'll make...the community itself is good and I didn't join for the adsense revenue.

I find it a funny addition to this forum, as wel, although I don't expect to earn any money from it. However, it did give me a bit of insight in how AdSense works. And I got one question: I started two threads since I'm over 50 posts. One thread with 37 views, and one with 15 views. However, my AdSense shows only 5 views. 5/52 is not nearly 1/2. Is it because of some lag in AdSense? Or is it something different?

Bassically, sometimes it shows your ads and sometimes Shawn's ads the reason is that it's not 100% adsense sharing. It's 50/50..:)

Sure, but I'd say I should have 1/2 of 52=26 impressions, instead of 5... Or is there something I miss?

I thought that I had read that the ads will rotate between the person that started the thread as well as people that are participating in the thread. All of that is in addition to any ads displayed with the DP id. Maybe I am wrong about that but that could be an explanation for why it is not a direct 1/2 ratio.

Here is the part that discusses the Adsense account used, go back to message #20 in this thread for an explanation.
