    While not set in stone at this point, I'm thinking about doing away with the Digital Point Blogs. They really aren't being used as intended, and we are left with a clusterf*ck of spam (both the blog entries as well as the blog comments).

    So debate is now open on why you do/don't want to keep that sub-domain. This is the time to give some compelling reason of why you would want to see it stay...

    Do away with it. It's been a while since it was implemented and it hasn't really been utilized.

    I agree that Digital Point Blogs are mostly used for spamming.

    Example:
    What is this? One line with two inks. Is this a blog post?

    So my vote goes for removing it. Else all blog post should be moderated by Moderators, if possible.

    I viewed one blog once and it was just spam, so never returned. (I can read spam on the forum easily instead. :p) +1 for making any announcements on the forum.

    Just visited it. Some entries about themes, Panda/penguin "tips", a entry about "body posture"....

    I haven't found much that was useful in it. I think you should just close it. Doing that will save you both the time and trouble of cleaning after those spambots

    Anything worth saving should be made in a thread I guess.

    Yeah I agree with others, i'd do away with it. I've only read one blog of Seans and that's all, it's just filling up space on servers with spam.

    I wouldn't do away with it, it just needs to be better moderated. For starters, stop allowing blog posts that aren't webmaster related.
