I don't think Adwords ever bans you for no reason. It's usually because you broke one of their policies.

Yes, they did. They didn't even warn me, simply didn't approve one of my ads(which was already posted on google by a competitor) and then got the email that my account is banned for good. And when I made new accounts later, all got banned, too. Now they have pretty much all my URLs in the system, so its not worth to try it anymore. But they will follow altavista soon, their arrogant attitude will only help some new big thing to outsmart them. No online company survives this kind of behaviour long term.

Only they know for sure, but I heard they want to get rid of the small guys slowly and only work with the big companies. So in a few years there might be only companies spending millions per month on adwords so google doesn't have any work, because then they won't need employees to check all the accounts and ads 24/7, if they follow the rules.

No adwords do not ban you without a reason as per my experience. But overdoing things in Google makes them suspect you as fraud or spam.

It is because of their behavior that they will last long term...

If they do not take out the trash, then they will be short term company.

You did something wrong, and they kicked you out, now your crying about it...

They are protecting their interests, not yours...

Protecting the customer interrest is protecting their interrest, no customers, no business, no google.

But I was like you before, too. I had an adwords account for years, everything was fine and then when I got banned, it wasn't for anything new I added, because I didn't, they just decided to change some terms, no warning, not nothing. They are slowly banning all accounts which promote affiliate programs these days, as the main target is on business owners with their own businesses. Did you even read their terms? I bet I could find stuff in your ads against the current terms, because they are written so well and can be interpreted in so many ways, they can ban you for anything, if they want to.

And you know what the funny thing is? My websites used to promote honest stores and services, now for the same keywords there are well known scammers on top, websites that never deliver and stole money from thousands of people if not more. I told them, google didn't care, as those paysites pay well, it seems. So don't tell me they are going to be here long term, because they won't with this greedy attitude, where the surfer can't trust advertisers anymore.

They don't ban for promoting affiliate programs. They will ban if you don't follow rules.

dscurlock said it best. I echo his views.

My advice is to read the rules, make sure you understand them and make appropriate changes to your campaigns. Do this and you won't have any problems.
