Personally (I don't know about other digitalpoint visitors), I use search if I need to find something on here and can't by browsing the threads. Google is good for general search, but DP search allows me to be more specific (look at the advanced options).
Agreed with EGS... It would be good if DP can provide tool or any facility which can intimate while writing title.
I suspect you and I have a different understanding of the word intimate.... Down here in New Zealand it refers to extremely personal interactions between naked people. I don't see any place for dp to be involved at those times....
I think rather than building a system that does a search for users, my time would probably be better spent building a grammar checking system so that we can just automatically block users who have a poor grasp of the English language.
Yes, even i just used this tool and i found numbers of post visible and is it like i need to go in every page and find whether what I am looking for is already posted in DP? If it is so then i must say no1 here have much time to act for such activity..
Use common sense and intelligence? Or at least former, if you don't have the latter. It's not hard at all. As mentioned before: hover your mouse pointer over the relevant thread title for a snippet of the first post. It's something even a child can do (recognise words).
I'm scratching my head right now as to wonder how I got an infraction for inappropriate language for asking someone to pm me in a thread that listed their offer... Really? If that's the case this forum has Got to loosen up a bit =|
