Buying WP site transfered instide the same hosting

Why not do it yourself? Move the files first and then move the database using phpmyadmin.

That's the way it is done.

 

how do I transfer the DB ?

 

Create a backup of the DB you want to transfer.
Then create a new DB in Mysql databases.
Goto Phpmyadmin and select the new database you created.
Import the backup to the new database.
After that you will need to configure the WP config file with the new DB name, username and password.

 

It's not easy as it sounds. This guy's website is messed up. Also the so called webhosting company utilizes tools from the 1990's. I've been trying for almost 2 hours to fix it but there is just too much crap there.
And it seems I'm not going to get paid for those 2 hours.

It is not cpanel and settings are different.

Yepp and I ended up getting unpaid after all the headache. He seems to be a middleman so he is not responsible for any issues.
He then told me I'd be awarded $5 if the issues get fixed, so that is for the site transfer + existing issues. He also broke the rules of posting here and not in Cheap Stuff. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to leave him a negative itrader.

 

I don't think leaving negative itrader will do any good as he didn't knew much about the Control panel and how much it will cost to complete the job.
