I don't mean to sound skeptical or anything, and please forgive me if I do. But it does not look like any of those website can bring any cash from Adsense.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. the second one does not seem to receive any visits at all while do first one needs a lot of improvement to make it user friendly.

That's Your Opinion on how it looks but your opinion is wrong. That site is well-OPTIMIZED for adsense. Maybe you have no experience with it.

1) Notice the page designs make VERY LITTLE appealing to click beyond adsense on all article content ( long tail pages ).

2) All the link color schemes are alike.

I've sold nearly $5k on Flippa and 4-figures more on DP.

The second one definitely receives visits. I'm not sure where you are getting all this random information from.
One website is 4 months (nearly 5 months) old, which kills your 3 month theory............

It's ok, I have no experience with Adsense.

You have sold $5k on flippa and 4-figures more on DP. I only have 42 website and none of them is worth $5k only 5 times that.

Also you are right I'm inexperienced, I've only been doing this for 17 years.

Anyhow, I dont care to compare portfolios . You being online 17 years does not matter. What your sites are worth does not matter. Good business for me was done privately and I flew to location of my buyer ( believe it or not ).
