Im considering to get some paid diretories. but I found different directories with different PR with different prices. Like a PR 3 directory offer 2$ for lifetime featured link, a PR 1 directory offer $5 for regular link. So the first one is obviously better one? Any tips of how to choose? Some high PR diretory offer reciprocal link and featured link of paid service. For example: http://www.freeprwebdirectory.com/ This is a PR 6 diretory. So you'd prefer to pay $ 7.99 for a featured link or reciprocal link on your home page? Thank you very much in advance.
Well on selecting paid directories dont just look at the PR check previous history of directory, age, backl inks, design and price when you find all good then go for the submission in it.There are many directories out there who charge sky high but they dont even know why are they charging this much without any good reason they charge it.
I dont think if a site ask to have reciprocal link even after if you pay for the listing is a good one.
There is a good thread discussing around this topic. Read this -> http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2353511
I'd go for pay directories because free ones are too slow to index your site. Sometimes they won't even index a good site.
Reciprocal link is worth more than paid submission. I'd say use free submission, you can invest money on directory submission service, which will submit your site to top quality free directories for a minimal price, so you don't have to worry about time required to do so. paid directory charge large amount.Getting listed on those is also not essential You can focus on the content and promote it through social media sites and also you can achieve the same result with free directories .
Some time paid directories are given value but not always. So, if you want to promote your business then try any other strategy.
Don't go on PR you just sure what is the ranking position in search engines, See it's back link check alexa ranking report.. I wouldn't recommend directories who offer Paid & reciprocal links..
Focus on the content not so much the type of directory that you think might have the best PR value. Content is king because if you have good content then more people will want to come back and see what new quality content you have to offer!
Paid or free directories don't make much difference. Try placing your link on pages with actual content instead of bland pages with hundreds of outgoing links.
Which you just so conveniently offer yourself. Can't say as I've seen too many directories with pages full of hundreds of outgoing links. But, I have seen more than a few sites with paid for footer links to totally unrelated websites which has been on Google's no-no list for years.
Nowadays you do not promote a keyword through directories or blog submission. So, find a new strategy.
