I take it your successful then? Because you don't submit spam and I do. I am successful so how do you figure that? I believe you give your get. If you never give you won't be getting much but your entitled to your opinion I suppose. You don't have to do it as a hobby but how long does it take to submit a report? Then why exactly did you create the plugin?
Your missing the point. It doesn't take long but you should know as SEO professional or a successful business person that most webmasters do not spend the "right" time on productive tasks. I would recommend that webmasters focus on content & creative ways of obtaining natural one-way links rather cleaning up Google's index. And as I stated unless the sector is full of spam crap then it is worthwhile to fill out spam reports.
Forgive me for making such a statement but your thinking only of your self in such a scenario. I do understand what you mean but as I said if you give you get and I have found that true. And I usually have enough time to get my work done and submit a report when I see a bad result as well.
Well I am not thinking of just myself. If you have the time great, but most -maybe not you- focus on the wrong things.
I prefer work on my website until rather than my competitors websites But with spamreport extension it's much easy ~80 reports and 450 download for first week.. Google will have a lot of work
show me someone who runs around filing spam reports and most likely I will show you someone who doesn't make much money on the internet
why MattCutt don't want to speak about this addon? he remove all comment about it here it isn't me, http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/send-more-spam-reports/#comment-90256 my comment, the same, was removed last week.. here http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/my-firefox-extensions/#comment-90273 perhaps he let it? (sorry for bad english )
Hows life as a selfish ferret? Don't use more than one name or he won't reply. He also doesn't reply to all comments. If he did he would never get sleep. And if your the owner don't act as if you are just user. Present it as it is: your tool. He is more likely to reply that way but again he can't reply to all these comments or he would get nothing done.
Nice comeback I think he is stating that Matt is deleting his comments - not that Matt isn't replying back. Anyway Matt probably will not allow a link back to any site in his blog unless it is well known or he knows the person.
No he allows any linkback to any site as long as the comment is okay. They are all no-follows so no-one gets any value.
Well obviously he didn't allow spamreport's links to stay. Any there is a lot of value from a link on Matt's blog other than pure SEO purposes: traffic. He gets a boat load of targeted traffic.
It appears to still be there for me. Not sure what anyone else is seeing. And believe me there isn't that much click-through unless you are in one of his posts. There are so many comments that you don't get much traffic. Some does come through however(first few or last few comments usually)
Looks like Matt put the comment back up . And it might not be much but it is targeted and can lead to some nice conversions depending on what you are pitching.
Aarons would be good too. There are a couple out there but we are taking this thread to a different direction right now.
