Get lost.... What will be active? BTW sounds good. I like Firefox estensions and a easy spam reporter seems cool.
Why do you say that? Do you mean the tool is a waste of time or reporting to G is a waste of time? FFMG
Sounds like a very good idea. Will the form be in English or French - your image form is in French? French might just confuse a few people
good tools, i will all report you, lol joke Well it is very useful on SE's but it not help on SEO. hope this tools will use correctly and not abused.
It helps SEO if everyone submits spam sites because it will eliminate some of that problem. I also hope it is used correctly. Note to users: Submitting competitors and normal sites which are not breaking TOS will result in your site being put on a watch list which means that anything you do will be watched. Fraud clicks on adsense can result in worse trouble as well from this. Don't use it to ban your competitors or you will end up out on the rope.
Well it doesn't really help site SEO per say but does help clean up the index of potential spammy sites. I wish this were true. How can any SE know which sites you are using? Yeah it will report your IP however the ones reporting competitors and normal sites are probably using proxies.
Thanks moron for the red rep You can't accept a disagreement without giving bad rep? Get lost. The first paragraph is exactly in agreement with mine And the last part: It is true. I can't give much info on that for reasons I also can't divulge but they are pretty good at it. They find patterns and you'd be surprised how many tell me they got penalized after reporting competitors that weren't doing anything wrong. Believe me they know things and use measures most webmasters don't know about. But if you care to try we don't mind
I'm the moron but your the one accusing me of something I didn't do. Well I didn't do until just now. And yes, reporting spam to Google is a waste of time. Your not going to get anyone banned. Anyone who spends that much time reporting spam to Google is never going to be successful. Get your priorities straight.
Sure if you are careless, there can do a reverse lookup (or using the google toolbar perhaps) and try to figure out "who" you are. My point is that savy spammers would use proxies so noone can figure out which IP you came from. Anyway unless spam is killing your sector I think it is a waste of time. Focus more building content and links - time better spent. Since over time, Google will get most spammers or least until the next spamming methods surface.
I think also it's a waste of time I use sometime cloaking, but I don't be afraid Cloaking is necessary, when you use ajax for example, But I don't do bad spam and I don't like it
