Hi , i just read the news about people leaving facebook. In a small country like Switzerland , in the last month only, more than 10000 young left facebook . Why ? Too many ads , and the new timeline change , but the biggest reason seems because parents are into facebook too, and they can control what the teens post ......Where do they go now ? It seems they went to WHAT'S UP , free SMS via iphone and more features, very fast way to communicate . This could be the end of facebook ? Not sure but it seems this trend is spreading all over the web world. What is your opinion?
I don't see it as an end to Facebook. I don't know of anybody who has deleted their account on Facebook because of reasons like to many ads and so on, Facebook still has more to give in their eyes and it will forever be with us. They are as rumoured going into the smartphone industry so it'll be interesting to see what becomes of that
Facebook is the most popular Social networking website and having a wide range of user as we can say its a country. So i think Facebook will never stop.
hmh, dont know what to think, i mean theres no way we can predict the future of facebook but i think at some point it will start to loose its popularity
Facebook for me has been loosing charm primarily because there are too many unwanted and mindless jokes, photos, statements etc. There is a mountain of unwanted information.
I'm totally seeing a decrease in popularity of Facebook for a lot of people in my age bracket (college kids) which I can't really find a reason for...It's just...boring now. In terms of using Facebook as a business and marketing tool, haven't yet seen that go down but reports and constantly coming out about the ineffectiveness of Facebook ads and such due to bots and fake likes. So unless Facebook takes action on these problems (so far they just feign ignorance) then I could see more people leaving. The only issue is there really is no competition for Facebook... Google+, as much as I would hope, just isn't getting the traction and nothing else exists.
Facebook is the social networking site which is mostly used by the people among the world.I think Facebook never get down.there may be several social networking sites by they can't beat the Facebook it's sure.
Too big (too much money, too many users)to go down for now. I never liked it much, too many email distractions etc about "friends" I don't even know. I grew up when youths were out playing till dark every-time we had a chance, things have changed quickly and it seems the norm is to try to be online ALL THE TIME for entertainment. I think that may make any site get boring after a while.
I think that facebook is a good site and very important communicative line for our bodies. i believed that every young come back in our facebook site for they are need . i think that facebook will be good site in the last month.
