I Got 123 Unrelated Blog Comments In Less Than 2 Weeks?

Good day everybody.There is a problem.

I just logged in to my Wordpress Dashboard to
discover that I have about 123 unrelated bog
comments.

Is this not spamming or what is it?

This is obvious spam, I am really shocked that you had to ask. Delete it.

 

Hi Hazh,

Use Akismet (Wordpress plug in) to stop the spam comments being recorded. It will identify automatically the spam comments and hold them ready for you to review...

Yes akismet is a good option to remove spam comments automatically but sometimes it removes normal comments as well

 

Yes I am suffering those spam comments as well, I use to have like 20 comments a day, removed with akismet.
It is true that it filters as well real comments, but hey, at least it saves you a ton of time reading and deleting trash

 

That's just the nature of the beast so to speak. Many of my sites get upwards of 20 or 30 spam comments a day, just delete them and move on, or pay someone else to take care of it if your sites make a lot.

It is definitely SPAM. I recommend you use Akismet or any plugin
to be responsible for eliminating spam.
