Image ad or Text ad??? confused

Hi guys i have entertainment website i which ad type is good in terms of getting clicks does image ad gets maximum clicks or Text add.........

 

I find that Image ads work best for entertainment sites as they have a lot more images on those sites so the Image Ads blend in better.
And on content sites with articles and lots of writing I would say text ads because again they blend better as they look more like the content.

 

if u have lots of images on your website then for got img ads, otherwise text ads

but according to me text ads convert more, but i never made an entertainment website

 

to get a visitor clicks a good suggestion I made ​​a image, for the text is also nice but traffic depending on the web

 

I would suggest you to put Image ads on the homepage. As it's an entertainment site, hopefully there will be some contents, in that section you can put small text ads inside the contents, with similar background color to that of your site.

Well , i would suggest same as Sajib , as its an Entertainment site so choose Image ads , so that there would always be some attractive ads going on . Text ads looks like a mess .

 

Choose both.
Adsense will do the thinking, they will see if your visitors are attracted to image ads or text ads and will rotate between them so the ctr will be the highest.

 

it depends. if your site has a huge number of images then go for text ads and if your site has less images then go for image ads.

 

A well planned combination of both image and text ads will not make your website look good it offers good click ratio as well.It needs proper planning of the site's layout. Traditionally image ads work better on entertainment websites, but with some work text ads do offer results.

 

I thing Image ads better. But you must know how to put effective on space your site. The place very infortance.

 

Does anyone know what works best for travel sites? I have so far only used text ads but I keep getting emails for Google advising me to change to image & text. I can't help thinking that image ads will be general hotel and flight related instead of specifically to Amsterdam and the other cities I cover.

so I will suggest you to use both of them.
Let google show the ad which pays you more (Either image or text), and this will ultimately improve your earning.

saying from my experience, avg CPC in image ad is less than text ad (in my case Text ad CPC is 60% higher than image ad, avg for $4000 earning)

 

Text adds will help you to get more visitors instead of image adds.

 

If its entertainment, then you can even get good response via images ads wherein you can better display images about your web stuff which you can not do in text ads.

And for me, ads are good if they are delivering results to you. No matter whether its text or image

However, I will advice you try both of them to find out which work better

 

your website is entertainment you can add 1 image and 2 text ads.you will get more clicks.
