From the last 3 years i have spend my lots of time on SEO. But today the time has been changed totally.The term SEO has wants something new ideas. After google PANDA updation & Penguine updation all the activities have done by me seems to be useless. Anybody can give me some suggestions that how to rank better on SERP. I know everybody is in this race to know about the new ideas & want to explore knowledge. But everything seems to be useless. So please give me an update about something new in SEO.
You must follow the below rules for getting the best result in short time... 1. Always follow the white hat seo technique when you create the Metatags. 2. You must maintain the high quality, unique content in all pages. 3. you must use the keywords of the particular pages in to content of that pages. 4. You must use the Anchor tags and images in to content of all pages. 5. you must use the unique description in to the activities like Directory submission, Social Bookmarking etc. 6. Don't use the Black hat seo technique in any activity of SEO.
Contextual backlinks have power now as before the updates. It is better to make few links from high authority sites from social bookmarking sites, article sites, press release and web2.0 platforms. I think it is nothing new, but people always trying to make it in easier way.
Just stay white hat, build links slowly from variety of source, and don't over optimize page. It's pretty simple

There is no such thing as a useless SEO technique! The reason you are not getting results is because of the Sandbox! i think it is better to build backlinks from socail networking sites, web 2.0 sites and article directories. these are the white hat techniques you will not penalized by google because google trust all these sites.
Focus on Unique content. do quality and natural work, on page are now more important after google updates.

I know there are many answers here and it will be hard to actually pick which advice to follow but honestly the best thing you can do is: When you first start a new site, let it sit from 5 to 7 days. Work on your site design or what not during the waiting period. 1. Build your links slowly after the waiting period. 2. Make sure your content is unique with the keyword in the content only 2 times 3. If you want to build your links fast use buffer sites around your main site. 4. Encourage social activity on your site 5. When building links make sure your links are coming from different ip's 6. mix your links with low mid and high quality. NO junky links. You can still find good low quality links. 7. Place useful videos on your page to help your bounce rate. If people are not staying on your page long do you think Google will see your page as quality? uuh no lol Mainly its all about user activity. Do not get me wrong building links and on page seo are very important but Google wants to see unique high quality user engaging content etc.
