Google analytics V blogger.com stats

After intending to check out the google analytics stats for one of my blog sites I eventually got round to doing so. But why the big difference in what is reported? Yesterday, for instance, blogger.com stats were showing over 1,000 reads but analytics only 11. Why the disparity?

I wasn't asking for random statements about analytics but thanks for taking your time to make one.

Could anyone answer the question? Why the disparity between the stats produced by analytics compared to blogger's stats? Both are by Google...

Now, the blogger stats are showing traffic from the US but the analytics only acknowledges local traffic... it's enough to do my head in!
