1. Try to not over optimize your page at on page factors 2. Use at least 5 anchored links ( 10 are recomended) for one url. 3. Link diversity . Use all kinds of links not only 2 types. 4. Check the next chapter called “ Link building never dies “ to see which types of links are recommended and which are Forbidden 5. Link building timing. Create your own timing , not put all the links at once. I recommend to start with not more than 20-25 links at 3 days.
Yup!..... Exactly what you said... Though, if you are a seasoned SEO Expert or Guru or whatever you want to be called, you should have known this was going to happen. These are how links are supposed to be built and should have been built back then... Still fairly easy to rank just about any site for any competition, but it takes a little longer than before. These one-time link building packages don't work anymore to get your site on the first page. They do help, but you now need a complete SEO Link Building Package; to be done on a monthly basis. I am not a seo guru or expert , i just make link building for 5 years now ... trying everything... yes i have seen this coming for many years. So 75 % of my working websites was not hit by Penguin. I have simply changed my entire strategy of link building though... I have my own 40 different domains private network where i buid articles with no more than 2 links per article. And bunch of social links to each post L 250 ( link pyramid). I also use edu blog posts with 10 different domains on pure edu. That is all .
