Selling Long Established iPhone site (Earnings)

    Hi,

    I am selling an iPhone site that I have been running for several years. I did sell the website at one point for just under $4,000, which appeared on DNJournal (http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/dom...9/05-19-09.htm). I started running it again just over a year ago (roughly).


    It also appeared on Flippa, where it gained some interest: https://flippa.com/63707-well-establ...one-apple-site

    At the time it made me quite a bit of money from referrals (in excess of: £4,166)

    Currently, the site isn't doing as well as it once was (unfortunately). Therefore, I believe it needs a fresh look on it, with someone that has enthusiasm to run such a site.

    The content is feeds from other websites (using a Wordpress free plugin).

    Since Feb 7th it's only made $48.87 and two referrals at about £20 each which is about $31 each. So, in 5 months it's made about $110. Not much, but I haven't done any work.

    The traffic peaks the week apple make an announcement. The highest amount of traffic we had was 736 visits on the 22nd of March. We was averaging several hundred visits a day constantly, until May where now our traffic is about 40-150 visits a day (should increase when the new iPhone gets released).

    I'm not looking for a fortune for this website, as I know it needs some work - but it does have a good foundation to work upon.

    Domain: GetAFreeiPhone.org (great keywords, used to rank 1st for the keyword 'Free iPhone' in the UK and in the top 5 for google.com).

    I was generating income by using a referral website and also google adsense. The referral website is apple.freebiejeebies.co.uk - they accept worldwide users. At one point in the past I also generated income from iPhone unlocking too.

    Owner is refusing to transfer site after paid for with BIN. Seller wanted $ 100 BIN and tried to change in middle auction, see thread. I won auction and immediately paid in full. Now seller will not transfer site after paid in full. This is not right and members doing business like this should not be allowed to do business here. All we have is our reputations and this action is not reputable.
