I agree with Wolf...if a "guru" is telling you to go left...steer to the right. Put yourself in the shoes of the buyer and then you are your own guru.
    Good selling to all.

    What is your site?
I am sure you'll take years to come to perform very very well. I am also building motor matic injeksi irit harga murah site: Upakarti, an affiliate site and just to make it good n rich content, then I am joining some writing contest and won in the 3rd writing seo contest I have joined. I never expected but I am glad since the price is more than any affiliation program I do so far. I was lucky and hope get all the lucks for next seo competition.

The Best Handmixer site looks promising. You're not getting any traction there?

Not yet sir. I was thinking what I have been missing. I made some few sales on my other blogs in the first quarter of this year but can't figure what I did for that since I am not actively writing for my blogs. :( I want to figure things out this time. Really want to earn some passive income especially through amazon. :)

There are simple rules to most things and Amazon is certainly no different - KIS - Keep It Simple.

    1. Find an area you want to promote with Amazon.
    2. Open a free wordpress and/or blogger account.
    3. Choose new or relatively new products with a decent feedback score.
    4. Use the free Google keyword tool and pick keywords with low competition.
    5. Start writing 300+ articles either as separate blog pages or posts.
    6. Make sure you have your affiliate code as clickable with your main keywords.
    7. Upload your blog.
    8. Ping and use a feed for your blog for quicker indexing with Google
    9. Find a formula that suits your style and develop it until your happy
    10. Rinse and repeat the process for a brighter future

    Mark :)

    Hi raketeer_mom

I think a lot of people choose the wrong Amazon products to promote. I tend to avoid items which have a heavy feedback score, as every affiliate in the land will be promoting it and the chances of getting to page one on Google for the relevant keywords would be very slim. Choose products that have a low but good feedback score or new products to the marketplace - check the release date on the Amazon product page.

    All the Best

    Honestly ,
    Heres what I suggest.
    1. Research the Niche.
    2. Set Up a Squeeze Page
    3. Use Aweber and Market Products to them based on niche

    Dont Spam them Everyday.
4 Emails a week is good to begin with.

Check for relatively new Amazon products within your chosen niche and see if it has low competition or even limited data using the free Google keyword tool. That's the process that I use before I start writing article blogs and it has proven to be reasonably successful to date.

It is still well though of and I have used Squidoo in the past, but they are very strict now with content and especially after the Google Panda and Penguin updates. If you don't have quality content with your lens or keep it updated then, the aggressive team at Squidoo will remove it from being a featured lens and in to a work in progress or even a locked lens and therefore the search engines will no longer have it in their index for people to find.

I do a watered down version of this. I pick the top 5 product names based on keyword volumes and build a site around it. If I were promoting steam irons, I might have steamironguide.com.

The homepage is an introduction to what they are, and why you need one, along with the top 3 picks. Then I do reviews on all 5 of the products and put a "Recent Reviews" section in the sidebar.

I only pick niche, long tail stuff and get maybe 30-50 uniques a day, but I pick products that are higher end ($100+). Each site makes me $50-150 a month and I never touch them again. I don't even bother doing links anymore, although I might ping it once I'm done.

    Still works a charm.
