Hi guys I have facing this problem from the morning. Computer turns on but the monitor remains black. I have done all the necessary action like reconnect the wire, re-start. Any hardware issue?
You should check your monitor power backup supply again and can change your power cable which can be damage so changed it if issued not solved then you can take some tips by Technical Support here you can get easily right solution and fix your issue so try it for better computer support.
Try removing ram, hard disk and disk drive from the motherboard and then try starting your PC. If it works then there is problem with ram or HD. Or else simply clean their ports and plug them back.
I had this problem before with my laptop. My daughter spilt coffee over it! Anyway I got it to work for a few days then the screen went black -after some investigation i found out it was the Graphics card that had gone. Could be thats whats wrong with yours - i decided just to buy a new one rather than pay to have a new graphics card put in.
Check cable connections ( from Video card to monitor) Check power connections ( of monitor) Try to open your PC and reseat the RAM and video card (make sure to unplug PC first) Verify if monitor is working by connecting it to another PC
I have this problem before, at first my monitor display went chaotic then after awhile it turned black. I have the monitor check using another CPU and it's working the graphic card is busted. I end up buying another graphic card.
I can be caused by both your graphic card or your motherboard. I have got something like this, I found that my graphic card was ok but my pci express slot at my motherboard was broken. Try to swap you card with another usable one or try to change to slot.
HI guys.... Thanks for your valuable suggestions. I have fixed the problem. It was a RAM related issue.
Maybe your monitor plug is loose or your computer has started. Press the NUM LOCK key and CAPS LOCK key a few times. If lights go on and off, your computer did boot up. If not your computer is really in trouble. Tru to unplug the computer and RESEAT the RAM modules then try to restart the system.
shut down the computer first and then open computer case and open the RAM then clean the connectors and then set it up. Then shut the computer on and you will see everything is ok.
I think capacitor inside the monitor is gone . you can change it from your local service provider or you can buy a new on.
1. examine the RAM is seated 2. Try any other RAM 3. still the same issue examine the video or video card , if any 4. if no video card and issue stiil changing it clear your CMOS by removing battery 5. still issue , examine the brand heat sink 6. still issue then suggesting checking mother board and processor
i think this problem has occurred due to RAM.so check it whether it is properly attach with motherboard or not.
