GENERAL COMMENTS

Love the logos so far. Please read what I say below to increase your chance of winning

Many of the logos have the same theme with using oil or a droplet inside the "O". Would really like to see different ideas. I really like that paper bird idea or Gorgon's unique use of the fonts. Would love to see more unique ideas like those.

I want to stay away from oil in the logo. The entire point of the company is against oil. So we don't want to promote oil in the logo. We also want to keep the logo positive so no crossing-out a droplet of oil or anything else that is negative.

If you have no idea what to do, look into alternative fuel sources or renewable energy. I'm totally open to unique ideas and crazy concepts! Don't just copy what everyone else is doing

Lastly, it seems like everyone is still using blue and red. Feel free to experiment with different colours. Blue and red look good but I would really love to see more unique ideas

 

Not too sure about the colours. The blue is a little too dark (would like to see something a little lighter or just a different colour entirely). I don't really like the brown at all. I really want to stay away from oil in the logo. I like the font for the slogan.

Like the two different sets of colours. The logo is nice. Of all the logos with the droplet inside the "O" this is one of my favourites. But as I mentioned above, I would like to see some different ideas. The main logo is great, would like to see the logo for the subtitle/slogan a little lighter so it doesn't grab as much attention.

I like this one. The logo image on the left looks a little too generic though. I could see that logo as a logo for any kind of company. I do like the idea of the three different colours in the droplet. Not sure on the little person though. Maybe something else instead? The colour combinations look good. I like the very small amount of green. Really like the fonts you used and the text/slogan. Nice job on that part!

Could PM a version without the watermark? Didn't get one I really like the wing idea although I have no idea what it signifies. Maybe it is subtle American symbolism? I love how it is different though! Really like both the text and slogan and how you have them formatted in both designs. Really like that line to the left and right of the slogan on the bottom design. Don't like that water droplet though

Your first image was broken I like your different take and like how the logo is on two lines. Cool concept. If there is a way to make both words have a similar impact so that the top does not feel so 'heavy', I think the logo would improve. I would also even out the logo and the slogan so they are the same width and remove the mirror effect (not a big fan of those ). Really like the rest though. Nice job!

I like this one a lot. It is very unique and that makes it really stand out. I like how the colours complement each other and fit in well on the website. I also like how the slogan is not just thrown onto the bottom but is actually part of the logo. Very nice job. Would love to see another concept if you have time for it.

I like how you included the old logo here for comparison. I'm not a big fan of what I call 'web 2.0' effects. These include mirror effects, outlines, fonts that are too "fun", or anything too gimmicky. I really like the colours of your top right logo (not the dark blue of the slogan though). I think with a different font and without such a strong outline, it could work really well.

I like the font used here. Dislike the droplet for the reasons I mentioned above (in the "GENERAL COMMENTS" post). The colour of the slogan and the right part of the logo kind of mesh too much. Would love to see this same logo with a different colour for the slogan. The colours and font for the logo are great however. Not sure how I feel about 'made' being highlighted.

 

Thank you for the entry! Could you send me a version without the watermark via PM? I like that line between the logo image and the text. Very fancy. I like the font for the logo but think the font for the slogan is a little too round. Not sure about the fire image as that may invoke negative imagery. I would prefer to keep the logo positive.

I like how you used an alternative slogan. That is one very easy way to stand out; nice job! Not sure how I feel yet about the all lowercase slogan but think it is a interesting thing to do. Will need to think on that one some more. Like I mentioned in some of my other comments above, I would prefer to stay away from oil or images crossed-off in the logo. Would love to see another one.

In general, I do not like outlines too much but you did a good job with it (minus the "M" which is missing an outline ). I also really like what you did with the slogan and your use of colour in both logos. Is the orange egg a droplet? I would like to stay away from that but I do like adding in orange into your logo. Could you try a different image or removing the droplet all together?

I love all your logos. Nice job so far. Really like how you took my suggestion and used some different colours! I really appreciate it! The only thing I dislike about the colours is that it reminds me of FedEx with the colours and starting with "F". Even a slight change in colour would fix this though so it is not a big issue. I like how your "o" is slightly larger and goes into the other letters. I like when the letters interact with each other.

Hey, welcome to DigitalPoint and thanks for entering! If you can, PM me a version of the logo without the watermark. Overall, the logo seems a little bit confusing. There doesn't seem to be too much structure. Sometimes that could be a good thing, but for this specific company, it needs to be neat and very 'professional'/corporate.

Thanks! I love the different colours. The pale green is just okay but the orange looks real nice. Thanks for trying something different. Major points for you! I like the font and really like the slogan and the line to the left of it. Love how you used both logos colours for that line. It really matches together well. Not really sure on the logo image "ff" at the top. It would be real nice for a law firm or something a little bit fancier, but I'm not sure that specific part of the logo fits in well with the company. Everything else looks great though. This logo is really strong. I like that part The colours are nice. Not sure about the dark background for the slogan though as it really draws attention away from the rest of the logo. Really like those wings, personally, although they are probably a little too dramatic for the corporate image. It would need to be a little more subtle but I like the direction you were going with it. Keep it up!
