My all-time favorite: "The Copywriter's Handbook" by Robert W. Bly. Covers all types of copy: advertisements, direct mail, brochures, PR writing, commercials, email, also covers how to hire and work with a copywriter, as well as how to get a job in the field. Very easy-to-read.
Man, so many books in my head. The top spot has to go to: Clayton Makepeace - Ultimate Desktop Copy Coach Dear god, that man can write...
My Life In Advertising...by Claude HopkinsThis book is great and explains all the tips you need to know and gives great examples as well
