Seinfelds "Kramer" and his racist comments...

Unless you have been living in a box for the past few days you would have heard about the terribly disgusting rage that Michael Richards (Seinfelds Kramer) spouted off at a comedy club in the States. (Cant remember where..) He was heckled by an audience member and started rhyming off the "n" word like it was nobody's business.. and definately was not none of his business to be using such a terrible word...

Im not usually that easily offended, and I wasnt even there.. to top it off I am white. However this is disgusting behaviour and I cant believe he thought he could get away with saying these terrible things.
I think his reputation has taken a terrible bashing for this (as it should) ...

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

Check TMZ.com, they have the video. I'm blown away that anyone would let those things come out of their mouth, celebrity or not. The video really is disgusting.

Are you serious? His rant was insanely racist, way out of line, and caused his entire audience to walk out on him.

I'm sure there was truly no need to direct such racial slurs towards the person or group of people that I'm assuming he was getting annoyed at for talking. It just shows how ignorant people can be.

I guess you'd have to see the entire show to understand what preciptated the rant. While I agree it was a bit uncalled for, it is nothing compared to the comedy I have seen. He got a bit riled by some hecklers... I've been at clubs where these rants nearly break out into fights. It is quite amusing to say the least.

I guess I just don't think it is worth making such a big deal out of. The world has much larger problems than worrying about what some has been type cast actor said in a "where are they now" comedy club.

Go to a comedy club some time. Sit up front. Watch what happens. I've seen some weird shit in my time, and this is nothing compared to some of the stuff I have seen.

I don't understand what he's saying. I hear some of the racial comments, but I don't understand what he's talking about. Anyone have a script of the words he's saying?

Ohhh please, I guess its ok for Chris Rock to make fun at white people for pretty much half of his shows?

The black guy yelling back at cramer is doing the SAME thing cramer is doing!

What Kramer was doing was way more harsh then what the "black guy" was saying back.

I agree with you there, but such blatant racism is always going to rile people up, and rightfully so.

Chris Rock does it in fun, acknowledging his white audience as he does it, and makes humorous comments based on typical sterotypes, etc.

Richards screams "nigger" 50 times in a rage, and says that fifty years ago, he would have been hung upside down with a fork in his ass.

    Very big difference.

He's admitted his actions were disgusting and publically apologized, not much purpose to you defending him when he doesn't believe in his own righteousness.

He can, and he can be picked apart by the general public in their response.

Keep in mind that even the US has laws against the spread of hatred. I'm amazed that anyone but an Imperial Dragon is defending this.
