I built a web site back in 02 that is currently still being hosted and used (prepare yourself) Frontpage. I use the site to license images such as this sample here: http://www.danscartoons.com/divorce_cartoons_1.htm. Note the file extension of "divorce_cartoons_1.htm" - is this a good image named file? I mean, so long as they get indexed in the search engines and can be found in the image archives for SEO purposes. What are your thoughts? Any feedback, comments and constructive criticisms are appreciated.... thank you.
You can change image names on ftp and then use a search and replace plugin to change their names to new SEO optimized names.
Hope you are aware with ALT tag. You can also use title tag for images that you will be going to use for your website. Update all the things with URLS. Success in your hand!
The only way I know about optimizing images for SEO is to use ALT and TITLE with images. You should try that.
I'm agree with this comment, also good add relevant name in image file much visitor come to my blog from image search
Taht's a pretty good file name for an image. It describes exactly what the image is (to the spiders)...and to the viewer. In other words the keywords are in there.
