Have a client who is looking at affiliate marketing for the first time and I am looking for the best affiliate network to recommend. Having spoken to a couple of networks it seems a bit hit and miss! Not one has been able to give me figures of affiliates in their network let alone potential uptakes of affiliates. Anyone have any experience of affiliate networks from the merchants perspective? Thanks
you should join affiliate network depending on your pocket ... Registering alone in affiliate network is not enough ( if you donot have attractive affiliate program like high pay per lead) . you also need to advertise your affiliate program on various forum's , directories and adwords .
Yes Shareasale is really good and I'd also strongly recommend www.ShareResults.com They are a very pro-active network and if you use any portion of their management service, they REALLY work for you. They have a dedicated forum over at my 5 Star forum and are constantly updating affiliates on new programs, bonuses and updates. They are also VERY straight shooters, easy to get a hold of and will tell you whatever you want - opposed to SOME other networks. I know everyone there really well. Let me know if you need an intro or more info about them and I'm always gald to help.
Affiliate Networks are only a part of the equation. CJ is obviously the largest in the US with the most number of affiliates and merchants, and quite expensive. This does not mean that if you join the CJ that you will get many affiliates. Not at all. The fact that CJ is the largest does not mean that the affiliates who join your program will bring you sales. Only 30% of affiliates who join a program become active, only a small percent of those bring significant sales. If you have a brand name -- such as Amazon, IBM, Dell, Macys you will get a lot of affiliates no matter what network you join. If you have a niche product without a brand name, it is more difficult to find affiliates. You need to make an attractive offer and go after potential affiliates. Don't depend on networks to make your program a success.
"cpastorm cpaempire offersquest" Those are all CPA networks which is a different option than affiliate networks. It depends on the merchant and what they are selling as far as what is best - an affiliate network or a CPA network. CPA networks are primarily for "offers" or leads or freebies or sign-ups. Other good CPA networks are AzoogleAds and Max Bounty. Affiliate networks are better for actual product sale - computers, shoes, guitars and also for many lead based programs like mortgage loans and insurance.
