    I know Google is number 1 search engine and number 1 company on the internet,but I wonder if some of you don't follow google flow and has some alternative methods to popularise their websites.

    You don't need a search engine to have a popular website. Just make a good website... Do you think people discover sites like Facebook or Twitter by randomly stumbling on it via a search engine?

    Only one.. That is Bing. Yes After google the Bing Search engine is Better For Search Results. Recently Bing Informed of Algorithm Changes. So You can choose another best search engine for Bing.

    For this site, Bing isn't even in the top 3 for search engine referrals... It's barely above ask.com.

    Google is so dominant, that other search engines aren't even worth thinking about.

    Yes, but achieving success in search engine rankings accounts for a lot. A search engine is just another advertising media. So if you're not gaining popularity via search engines, you're doing so through other methods. Once does not simple create a site, sit back and watch visits stats grow. It must be advertised, and sometimes search engines are the best method of advertising.

    google is the most popular search engine followed by yahoo and bing but they are not just the search engine people use.I use dogpile as my search engine,it fetches search results from google,yahoo,and bing,give it a try.

    Thanks for sharing that. That is what I see across websites I have stats for. Google is the only search engine worth worrying about, if that is how you get traffic.

    Google is far far ahead than anyone else. If there is no Google, there is a strong possibility that Yahoo and bing will share the top position.

    There is an alternative for the google search i.e. Bing. However, no other search engines can be as powerful, relevant as Google that is why i never look for Google alternative.
