Are you aware that it is called Islamic Republic of Iran? The same way that the ranting of the other nut case was not removing Catholics from Christianity, yours doesn´t remove Shiite from Islam. Also you missed the whole point, ALL RELIGIONS are shit, no matter what sect you belong too.

 

There's an "Islamic Republic" of Pakistan too but nobody in their right might is going to say that Pakistan is truly "Islamic" in every sense of the word. In my country, the secular leaders here have bandied around the idea that Malaysia is an "Islamic state". Unfortunately in real life and practical use, that isn't happening at all. Of course things are being worked out behind the scenes to change that, but we'll just have to wait and see.....

The Qur'an does not condone child abuse, misogyny or rape. As for slavery and war, the Qur'an has taken a pragmatic approach to both.

Child Abuse - Children classification are babies - at least 16. Marrying a 9 year old or 12 is child abuse.
