Were you talking about these weapon crimes?

It seems like every other month now, I have to remind ferret of the truth, lest he's ever so willing to sell his own country out by giving other's credit to us:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction

But, I bet if we ask gworld, all those chemical weapons were just mouthwash and hair dye :D

Of course, the NYT recently screwed up in admitting and validating saddam's nuclear threat and capabilities. In an effort to sway the elections again, they wanted to portray that Bush revealed secret nuclear information from Iraq, to Iran. What they apparently forgot about was, they were validating saddam's nuclear threat!

    Oops!

I like how Bush fired Rumsfeld and how he now seems to be taking council from the 'foreign policy/military' realists(ie Gates and Baker) that served in his Father's administration.

Gtech, I am so happy you are here! My premise of this thread was just to say one nice thing about President Bush, that seemed to upset some people. I think he deserves some respect simply because he is the President of the United States. Why is it so hard to admit that he has done some good as well? Some of my viewpoints would be categorized as liberal or democrat, but I do admire President Bush for getting Saddam out of power and his stand on terrorism. Why can't you all just say one good thing?:)

There are lots of anti-American/pro-terrorist posters here. Couple that with angry liberals, and the responses are about par for the course.

Dennis Miller said it best, I believe:

    I couldn't agree more :D

I definately agree with Rebecca's original comment when she says: "when Saddam is to old to reign he would have turned his power over to another dictator as evil as himself."

That is what many people overlook. Wars and military action will always cost lives, they have cost many lives from our side and many lives from innocent civilians and also the enemy, but in the end I definately believe that once this mass loss of life which is going on now slows and eventually stops, Iraq may for once in its troubled history, become a place which isn't war torn or at the mercy of evil dictatorships.

I was waiting for someone to take that out of context and leave the rest. Normally I don't quote that part of Dennis Miller, but I figured it would be good bait. Thanks for taking it :D

    No probs Rebecca.

I absolutely love Bush, he's my hero. :)
I wish he had a son to carry on the great work that grandfather, father
and son have done for America and the rest of the world in the past.

George Bush is a god damn hero and Americans have every right to be really proud of all the destruction he has created in the world. :)

Thanks Rebecca but I'm British though. :)

But I really appreciate how respected George Bush is throughout the world. His fight on the "war on terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" and "axis of evil" and his strong stance on rogue nations developing "noooookular bombs" has been a major success and has made the world a much safer place. :)
