Hi, I am not able to login into wp-admin dashboard of my wordpress site because redirects to login.php seems its hitting a 404 error. i am able to login when i rename the plugins folder, but as soon as i use the original plugins folder name again the problem starts again. (Despite all plugins are disabled) I am not able to find if its a plugin folder or any one plugin which is the problem. I recently updated to new wp
Try the suggestion above or. Make a backup of your plugins folder (I am sure its a plugin conflict). Then leave the plugin folders without content and slowly put the other plugins back in one by one. You will see which one turns up an error. Even if the plugins are turned off, some may still have a conflict.
I mean just zip the plugins folder up, download it, then unzip it on your local machine. Now delete all the plugins inside the plugins folder. Put them in one by one from the backup (not install inside WP, rather a direct upload via FTP) Every step of the way you go on to your site and check if the error persists. If by any chance the error comes back on one particular plugin, then that plugin is the culprit.
I'm not sure it is a plugin issue. I've done as you suggested and it didn't fix the problem. The only thing I can think of now is a fresh install of WP.
